\ud83c\udf89 Youth QPR Suicide Prevention Training Successfully Completed!<\/span><\/p>

On June 20, 2026, YouStar Foundation partnered with Little Tokyo Service Center to host a Youth QPR Suicide Prevention Training for youth and adults who support young people.<\/span><\/p>

We were encouraged by the strong participation of students, parents, educators, mentors, and community members who gathered to learn how to recognize the warning signs of suicide, start supportive conversations, and connect individuals to appropriate help.<\/span><\/p>

One of the most encouraging parts of the training was the active engagement of the youth participants. They asked thoughtful questions throughout the session, demonstrating a genuine interest in understanding mental health and suicide prevention. During the small group discussions, participants openly shared their perspectives, experiences, and ideas, creating meaningful conversations and opportunities to learn from one another.<\/span><\/p>

Through this nationally recognized QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) training, participants gained practical skills and confidence to support those who may be struggling with mental health challenges.<\/span><\/p>

We are grateful to everyone who attended and helped make this event a meaningful success. Together, we can create safer, more connected communities where young people feel seen, heard, and supported.<\/span><\/p>
