Suicide Prevention Campaign

Koreans, as well as Korean Americans in the U.S., are experiencing a more severe mental health crisis than ever before. The YouStar Foundation aims to contribute to reducing suicide rates through ongoing educational seminars and various programs.

We will take the lead in breaking misunderstandings, ignorance, and prejudice about mental disorders and building a healthy Korean community that recognizes mental health as an essential part of well-being.

Warm Line

This non-crisis support hotline will offer emotional support, guidance, and resources for individuals facing stress, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. Specifically designed for the Korean community in the U.S., the Warm Line will address barriers such as language differences,

유스타 파운데이션은 지난 2014년 이래 세상을 반짝반짝 밝게 빛내고자 ‘나눔을 전파’하는 이들이 함께 모여 ‘현재진행형’으로 꾸준히 성장해 가고 있는 자발적 후원 단체 (Nonprofit Organization)입니다.

2014년 8월 나눔 실천의 첫 발걸음으로 ‘백혈병 환자들을 돕기 위한 취지’의 나눔 콘서트인 ‘기적콘서트’를 처음으로 선보였으며, 매년 1~2회에 걸쳐 나눔 테마를 담은 이벤트를 기획해 실천형 나눔으로 다가서고 있습니다.

2018년부터는 정신건강 힐링 단체로서의 차별화를 선언하고, ‘나눔은 전파다’라는 명제 아래 온오프라인 힐링 세미나를 꾸준히 개최하는 등 ‘네버기브업 (Never Give Up)’ 힐링 캠페인을 펼치고 있습니다.

현재 정신건강 힐링을 위한 영상 콘텐츠 제작에 애쓰고 있으며, 다큐멘터리 제작과 함께 OST, BGM 제작을 통한 신개념 SNS 홍보활동으로 그 영역을 넓히고 있습니다. 한미공조 자살방지 캠페인송 프로젝트인 ‘Unfinished Job (언피니시드 잡)’ 시리즈는 ‘part.1 : 감사해 덕분에 (장혜진 & 하동균)’를 시작으로 2023년 6월 현재 ‘part. 6 : 슬픔 속에 그댈 지워야만 해 (김호연)’까지 발표를 끝마쳤습니다.
